Ⓛ LUPUS-AQUILAM Ⓐ
"WOLF-EAGLE"
"WOLF-EAGLE"
The rare and dying species known as Lupus-Aquilam, or "Wolf-Eagle", is guessed to be a distant relative to the traditional Gryphon. However, no one is sure of this fact. The reason for the endangerment of the Lupus-Aquilam is due to a plague that spread throughout the species around nine centuries ago. Because of the high death toll, less were available for mating and because of the versatility in the Wolf-Eagle's genetics, large groups of the remaining Lupus-Aquilam had begun cross-breeding, thus dirtying the Lupus-Aquilam blood. There is an unknown number of what's left of pure Lupus-Aquilam, but the criticality in there declining species is profound.
This species possess' the ability to manipulate the elements (Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, and Spirit). However, one element is stronger than the rest for each individual. Although, some pure Lupus-Aquilam's are blessed to have two elements as their lethal weapon. The other elements, although dangerous, do not hold as much of a threat when an opponent is aware of impending attacks and are usually just used to trap and confuse prey.
Lupus-Aquilam's are known for not devouring their food. Instead, they drink the blood of their prey as they are equipped with teeth that are capable of doing such a task. However, they will eat a whole carcass when in need.
Lupus-Aquilam's are not known for attacking other creatures, excluding basic prey (elk, rabbits, deer, foxes, etc), but as their population declines, the severity in their situation inclines, and they are rarely to never seen, they've attacked and gone on homicidal rampages when they feel threatened. This merely due to having little to no council among them and killing sprees caused by a Lupus-Aquilam are usually only heard of once around every decade.
Remember, the Lupus-Aquilam is very powerful and lethal. And although they were known to be fairly peaceful and kind creatures, they are not a force to reckon with.
p.s
Lupus-Aquilam's used to live very closely with one another, often a tribe being formed between large groups, but for the most part they lived with no monarchy and were quite harmonious. But over the past few centuries, tribes died out and it is not likely to see multiple pure Lupus-Aquilam's together. For the most part, they roam alone, hopefully making acquaintances rather than foes. But if you manage to get more than one matured, pure Lupus-Aquilam angry... good luck to you.
If ya interested in making a char as a Lupus-Aquilam, first make sure it's ight with Enoki and then holler at ya girl. This is an original species of mine (if I'm low-key copying some other species that I'm not aware of, my bad) and I'd appreciate ya just to come to me and state whether you want to be "dirty-blooded" or "pure". If you want to be "pure" you must be quite active and literate when rping. If you want to be "dirty-blooded" it's a chill time because it's the "pure" blooded that are rare.
Also, Lupus-Aquilam's resemble realistic wolves in colours. Although, they can have some hues or sheens of pastels littered throughout their pelage or other faint not-in-your-face-vibrant colours.
Anywho, this isn't exclusive by any means, I just want to keep things tidy and easy to understand c:
