((Excuse the giant wall of text... Oh yeah, by the way, Eon is a bit older here. Again, Eon's aging process is very odd, so if you're concerned because your character hasn't aged while Eon has, don't worry ^^ It's just Eon x"D On the other paw, by the time he's fully grown, he'll age extremely slowly compared to everyone else))
Wings spread wide, a hybrid of an animal began running in circles on shaky legs, his thin body looking as if it could barely hold up the giant wings on either side. Eventually, the adolescent flew into the air, howling joyfully. Now air-borne, his body was so light and his wings so powerful, that he felt he could fly anywhere. He still had to work on the take-off, though.
Becoming reckless, the young adolescent flew higher and higher into the air, until he looked back down and panicked. Going higher than he intended too, his wings flapped in alarm, no longer in sync with one another. He fell, finally regaining himself once he saw the tree he was nearby when he took off, managing to land clumsily, yet unharmed. Looking around, he wondered if anyone saw him.
Nervously, Eon shuffled his paws and looked down, suddenly yelping in alarm at what he saw. His paw... was distorted, breaking and crumbling apart. However, once he realized it, his paw began to slowly shift back into it's original shape, Eon's eyes widened at what he saw. It didn't hurt. If he hadn't looked, he would've never known his own body was falling apart.
Yet, Eon felt happy. Was this his magic power? Eon always knew he must have magic; vague memories of his family possessing such things filled his dreams now and again, and other creatures in the Second Realm too had magic. At least some of them did.
But... what did this magic mean? What did it do? Eon felt confused, and the more he thought about it, the more solid his paw became, until you would have no way of knowing it had ever broke. He ought to ask someone about it.
Conveniently, Eon spotted someone not too far away. Had they been watching?
