Oiokal Dragons are an eastern style dragon species, that dwell in water. They like clear water, but not still water. Because of these preferences, Oiokals often choose springs as their homes.
Oiokals are easy to distinguish from other types of dragons. They are usually a light bluish green, with a dark blue stripe down each side. A white mane of fur that starts at their head and goes down the back is also present. For females, this mane stops at the mid back area. Male's manes go all the way to the tail. No matter the gender, Oiokals also have antlers. The antlers resemble a reindeer's and range from a chocolate brown the the gray color of tree bark. Being an eastern style dragon, they are very long. This makes them very ungainly on land, but in water they are as smooth as otters and very skilled at swimming. When born, hatchling's lungs are different from the fully developed adult lungs. Young lungs develop fast, and within weeks are ready for holding their breath for two hours at a time.
Oiokals are business dragons. They collect smooth or pretty river rocks, shells, gems, and the like. These "hordes" consist of items for trade or to sell, except for a few choice items they keep for themselves. The blue dragons are also very intelligent. They take time to study the world around them and observe.
