A brief Summary of the Land of Tulvir
Told by Gale
"This is only a little bit of what I want to say about my homeland. With so much going on, I'm not sure how long it's going to last. I want to go visit it some time soon. I need to know who won!"
"Tulvir is surrounded by large, sharp cliffs that protect the valley below. With a river right flowing through, it has bountiful resources, plenty of space, and a naturally fortified camp. A friendly group of creatures living there formed what they simply called 'The Tribe'. It was lead formerly by the late Misty, a Rainwing dragon who's intelligence kept the savages from entering and destroying the valley they called home. Right now, it is lead by my father Gabriel.
"Most of the people who lived here were those who had traveled but decided to settle down. The creatures were all very varied, including a few dragons, some canines, felines, and even a human witch. Among them was my family, who were known for their unusual pairing.
"My father, who seemed to be larger-than-average feline, was named Gabriel after the golden markings on his flanks that resembled wings. My mother was a noble phoenix, with the traditional fire bird name of Pyre. Together, our family was born. I had another older brother, Raven. A few years after I was born, my mother passed away due to a rare disease that slowly petrified a phoenix until eventually they fell away to ash, doomed not to come back.
"It was rather calm, with only the occasional outside raid to fight off. In recent years, the savages outside were gaining numbers, and each raid was getting tougher to recover from, with the time in between shortening to mere days. In one of these ruthless attacks, our brave leader Misty was killed by one of the opposing basilisks. There was chaos, panic, fear, but my father, Gabriel, stood up and became their new leader. It seemed that a war had broken out, and to win it, we'd have to fight with tooth and claw to keep the lawless, ruthless outsiders."
"Tulvir's Waterfall."
